We follow the manufacturer-published process every time. Cutting corners on any stage shortens the warranty and the lifespan, so we don't.

• High-pressure clean to remove moss, lichen, dirt and chalking paint
• Replace any broken or slipped tiles, re-bed and repoint ridge caps
• Repair rusted metal sheets, screws and flashings
• Apply a roof-grade sealing primer to the entire surface
• Apply two coats of UV-stable, heat-reflective roof membrane in your chosen colour

Each roof type takes a different product system. Concrete tiles need a sealing primer plus two coats of membrane. Terracotta requires a clear or pigmented terracotta-specific coating that breathes. Colorbond and zincalume metal roofs use an etch primer plus two coats of acrylic metal roof paint. We confirm the system in writing on every quote.

We use heat-reflective Solar Reflective Index (SRI) coatings on most restorations. On a dark, north-facing Queensland roof this can drop attic temperatures by 6–10°C in summer and noticeably reduce air-conditioning load — particularly relevant for Sunshine Coast properties without insulation upgrades.

Our roof restorations carry a workmanship warranty backed by the manufacturer's product warranty — typically 10 years on premium tile systems and 7 years on metal-roof systems. Warranty details and product datasheets are issued in writing with every completed job.
